Overview

Note: To view the full list of components, see Overview: AdKit Components.

You can configure slide progression in the Gallery component. You can play, stop, and change the order of slide progression in the gallery.

Configuration

play()

Description

Automatically advances to the next slide based on the default interval or a user-defined interval.

Note: Currently, this method runs only if the autoSlide property is set to true, or greater than zero.

Example
adkit.onReady(function(){
    adkit.$('video1').play();
});

stop()

Description

Stops automatically advancing to the next slide.

Example
adkit.onReady(function(){
    adkit.$('video1').stop();
});

next()

Description

Advances to the next slide.

If the current slide is the last slide, and the loop property is set to true in the Component configuration object, then the last slide becomes the current slide.

Example
adkit.onReady(function(){
    adkit.$('gallery1').next();
});

prev()

Description

Returns to the previous slide.

If the current slide is the first slide, and the loop property is true in the component configuration object, then the last slide becomes the current slide.

Example
adkit.onReady(function(){ adkit.$('gallery1').prev(); });

goto(slideIndex)

Description

Sets a specific slide to be the current slide in the slide index.

Example
adkit.onReady(function(){
    adkit.$('gallery1').goto(3);
});
Name Mandatory/Optional Type Desription
SlideIndex Mandatory Integer The slide index is based on the 1-based indexing mathematical system.
