A Keyframe captures the properties of a layer at a given point of the timeline. They can be incrementally changed over a specified period of time to create a visual experience. Multiple keyframes can be used on any individual layer at the same time to create sophisticated animations.
Note
Keyframes can require time to achieve complete animations. Creative Studio comes with a set of animations that are ready to use. See Animation using effects for more details.
To set up a keyframe, select the layer on the Timeline Panel that will be animated and use the arrow to the left of the Layer Name to expose the available keyframes. By default, only the most commonly animated properties are displayed. Clicking on More attributes will allow access to other properties that can be animated.

Properties that can be animated include:

Set the Timeline scrubber to the point where the animation will begin and click the icon next to the attribute to animate. A keyframe will be added to the Timeline. Then place the scrubber at another point where the animation should end and click the icon for the layer to animate. Use the Properties Panel to set the value of the property for each keyframe in order to automatically create the animation between the two keyframes.

Multiple properties can be animated at the same time by stacking keyframes in order to create complex animations.

To move a keyframe, select the keyframe and drag it to another point on the timeline. Multiple keyframes can be moved at the same time.
To delete a keyframe, select the keyframe, right click on it and select “Delete”. Alternatively, hitting the delete button or clicking on the icon for the layer will also delete a selected keyframe. Multiple keyframes can be deleted at the same time.
