The timeline panel is located at the bottom of Creative Studio’s authoring interface. It provides controls and options to animate the layer component that is selected. The timeline panel includes the list of all of the layers that are available for animation. Its layer order matches that of the Layers panel.

Animations can be performed thanks to a list of predefined effects, or manually by creating keyframes.
The Effects library can be used to quickly and easily animate layers thanks to a library of predefined animations. They save designers time by removing steps in the creation process. For more details, see Animation using effects.

Keyframes provide complete control over each property of layers. They can be used on any individual layer to create sophisticated animations. For more details, see Animation using keyframes.
