You can build an ad from scratch , if you have already created your Flash assets and you want to make them Sizmek friendly. You can either create new FLA files, or select exiting ones from your computer. The process for creating ads from scratch is dynamic according to the type of format you have selected.

To create a Banner ad:

  1. From the opening screen, click New Ad, then from the drop-down list select an ad type.
  2. In the Ad Name field, enter a unique name for your ad.
  3. In the Location field, search for the name of the folder where you want all of your ad's assets to be saved.
  4. Select the Create a new folder for this ad checkbox, if you want to create a new folder under the selected folder. The new folder’s name will be the same as the ad’s name entered in Ad Name. This checkbox is selected by default.
  5. Select the ActionScript version.
  6. Select your Default Image. Adding a default image is a mandatory step in the ad creation process. You will not be able to upload your ad to the Sizmek platform without a default image.
