With HTML5, you can create ads that are ready to run across desktops, smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices. This enables you to deliver consistent brand messages--regardless of where your consumers might be.

You must make sure your publisher is certified before you can create HTML5 ads and campaigns. Please contact your Client services manager for more information.

You can build HTML5 ads in one of the following ways:

  • HTML5 Workspaces

Sizmek’s HTML5 Workspaces are a toolset for programmers to incorporate our rich media features using the authoring environment of your choice. Workspaces are ZIP files that contain all of the assets and files you’ll need for a single ad, pre-packaged with Sizmek API code. Once you have a Workspace, all you have to do is plug in your own assets and customize your ad the way you want. When you’re finished, zip all of your HTML5 assets together and upload them to the Sizmek platform for trafficking. For more information, see Overview: HTML5 Workspaces.

  • Ad Builder for HTML5

The Ad Builder for HTML5 is our UI-based authoring tool for creating HTML5 ads from scratch. The Ad Builder for HTML5’s intuitive drag-and-drop interface is simple to use whether you’re a seasoned developer, or have no knowledge of code. Using Ad Builder for HTML5, it is easy to add and customize components such as images, text, video, and hotspots. With the click of a button, you can define properties, actions, and animations, previewing your work as you go. For more information, see OVERVIEW: AD Builder for HTML5.

  • Instant Creative
The Sizmek Instant Creative ad authoring tool, which is available in the Sizmek Advertising Suite, provides a set of top-notch ad templates that can easily and quickly be made into your own ads. All you need to do is to select a template, customize the different components and attributes, and proceed to serve the ad. For more information, see OVERVIEW: Instant Creative.
