Ad Builder for Flash supports creating the following two types of ad templates:

You can create a local template and save it on your local computer. This enables you to save the ad you are working on, so that the next time you create an ad, you can base your ad on the template.

To create a local template:

  1. Open the ad for which you are creating a local template.
  2. From the Ad menu, select Save as Template.
  3. Enter a name for your template.
  4. Click Save.
The My Local Templates folder is created and the template is saved under it.
You can create a template and then save it as a shared template. This template will then be available for others to use.

To create a shared template:

  1. From the Ad Builder for Flash panel, go to Tools > Ad Builder for Flash Settings.
  2. In the Shared Templates Location field, click to browse for the location where all the shared files are saved.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Open the ad from which you want to create a template.
  5. From the Ad menu, select Save as Template.
  6. Enter a name for the template.
  7. Select the Shared Templates radio button.
  8. Click Save.

The My Shared Templates folder is created and the template is saved under it.
