Peer39 offers verification reporting for campaigns and placements that are not served by Sizmek. A verification tag, placed in the relevant campaign or placements, tracks impressions, viewability, clicks, and additional verification data. This data appears in the Peer39 Verification dashboard and Excel report.

This procedure includes all of the required steps to apply your verification tag in your campaign.

The following is an example of a tag:

Procedure

Important

Important: Before you begin, retrieve the Verification tag from Peer39/Sizmek Advertising Suite. (To generate the tag, see HOW TO: Generate a Verification Tracking Tag.)

  1. You must manually substitute these placeholders with the relevant macros of the platform where you place the Peer39 Verification tracking tag. The verification tag has placeholders for macros for the following parameters (shown in blue):

    Macro Placeholder

    Description

    Expected Value

    Value Reported in Verification

    InsertCampaignIdMacro

Macro for the campaign ID. This entity represents the advertiser’s campaign under which multiple media strategies and ads run.

    Numeric

    Yes

    InsertSiteIdMacro

Macro for the inventory source ID. This entity denotes an SSP, an ad exchange, or a publisher network that represents the media inventory.

    Numeric

    Yes

    InsertPlacementIdMacro

Macro for the media buying strategy ID. This entity represents a specific plan of action (group of placements that help improve performance towards a goal). This is where the buyer targets different segments or may buy from specific inventory sources to optimize a campaign.

    Numeric

    Yes

    InsertMobileAppIdMacro

Macro for app ID or bundle ID. For example, com.pandora.android for an android app or 284035177 for an iOS app.

Numeric value or string of letters

No. App ID value is used in the backend to surface various classifications of the app such as content, safety, and fraud.

    Note

Note: In addition to the above macros, generic tag includes Custom & Referer URL parameters. These placeholders are not currently supported and should not be filled. They will be supported in the future.

  2. Add this tag as an impression tracking tag to the platform where you run your campaigns.

  3. To track clicks, add the click tracking URL in the platform where you run your campaigns.

  4. Provide the IDs and names for your campaigns and placements to your client services manager. This mapping information will be used to present names for campaigns, placements, and sites in verification reporting. (The following table contains sample data.)
