Peer39 offers verification reporting for campaigns and ad groups that target Peer39 categories pre-bid. A verification tag, placed in the relevant The Trade Desk creatives, tracks impressions, viewability, clicks, and additional verification data; this data appears in the Peer39 Verification dashboard and Verification report.

This procedure includes all of the required steps to apply your verification tag in The Trade Desk.

Important

Important: You should only apply a verification tag to a creative that is associated with an ad group that targets Peer39 data.

The following is an example of an impression-tracking tag:

Procedure
  1. For impression-tracking and click-tracking in The Trade Desk-served creative:

    1. Add the verification tracking script tag in the creative in the 3rd party tracking tag field.

    2. The click-tracking URL should be set in the click-through URL before the advertiser landing page.

  2. For impression-tracking and click-tracking in a 3rd party-served creative:

    1. Place the verification tracking script tag below the ad tag code.

    2. The click-tracking URL should be set up inside the ad tag code, before the relevant click macro (redirect to ad tag click macro).

    Important

    Important: Peer39 Verification can only report clicks by verification metric when both a click tracking URL and an impression tracking tag are applied to the creative.

  3. Provide the IDs and names for your The Trade Desk campaigns and ad groups to your Peer39 contact. This mapping information will be used to present campaign and ad group names in verification reporting. (The following table contains sample data.)

Important

Important: The customer service manager establishes the initial mapping when the tag is first generated. Afterwards, you should add new campaigns/ad groups using the external media plan in Sizmek Advertising Suite. For more information, see Set up an External Media Plan.
