Note
Note: To learn more about this format or to see build guides for other authoring tools, see About Billboard. Billboard in the Ad Builder does not support responsiveness and cannot remember the last panel seen. If you need one of these capabilities, see Create a Billboard in a Code Editor. For an overview of Sizmek Ad Suite (SAS) Ad Builder, see Introduction to Ad Builder.
The following images show an example of the Ad Builder interface, displaying the various options that are available when creating an ad. Refer to these images and the following tables to familiarize yourself with elements that you can use every time you create a Billboard in Ad Builder.
Number in Image |
Description |
---|---|
5 |
The Billboard panel displays the main ad content during the expanded state. |
6 |
In the Properties pane: On Load event, check step 4 at Master_Banner above. |
7 |
(Optional) Add a border. Most publishers require a border for HTML ads. Refer to your specifications plan to confirm that a border is required. If you do not have this information, you should add a border. |
8 |
(Optional) Animate the elements of the billboard panel after the expansion by adding On Load events. |
9 |
Customize the Close button. The actions upon Tap/Click should contain Collapse : billboard and Expand : leave-behind. |
10 |
Customize the ClickThrough button, commonly called Call-To-Action. If you delete it and prefer to make your banner entirely clickable, in the Components pane, click Hotspot to add a click-through button. This button creates a transparent overlay that makes your ad clickable. In the Properties pane, set the width and height to match your ad, and set the X and Y coordinates to 0. Remember to always put a Close button in front of the other elements/components/objects. |
11 |
(Optional) Tracks any additional user interaction that does not open a new browser window. |
12 |
(Optional) Customize the Video component by replacing it with the required video. If your ad does not require a video, you can delete this component. |
