The deluxe banner has adaptive or responsive resize capabilities, along with rich media capabilities, such as video/interactivity.

The contents of a deluxe banner ad reposition as the ad changes in size:

  • Responsive ads display in any size.

  • Adaptive ads display in a set of predetermined sizes, showing the largest size that is available on the publisher's page.

  • Fixed-sized ads remain at one size regardless of the space available.

deluxe banner includes the following attributes:

  • Maximum size is 10 MB. (The initial load can be set at 300 KB. For more information, see Add polite load to your HTML ads.

    Notes:

    • While Amazon Ad Server (AAS) ads can be up to 10 MB, ads must also follow the specifications of the publishers or DSPs that will ultimately run the ad.

    • Maximum ad size can be increased beyond 10 MB upon request; however, you should check with your media partner to verify that the ad will not be rejected by the publisher.

  • Two templates, non-video and video (adds video and text).

  • Ad can contain multiple interactive features.

  • Ad adapts to all but the smallest sizes.

Building a deluxe banner

The deluxe banner is an advanced custom format that you can build as a workspace ad in Amazon Ad Server (AAS). A code editor of your choice is recommended as the best option to customize the deluxe banner workspace.
