The interstitial is a full-screen ad format that launches before displaying a publisher's content. It usually launches with an overlay that resizes to the dimensions of the screen, closes after a defined period of time, and optionally, disables scrolling of the publisher's page.
The interstitial includes the following attributes:

-
While Amazon Ad Server (AAS) ads can be up to 10 MB, ads must also follow the specifications of the publishers or DSPs that will ultimately run the ad.
-
Maximum ad size can be increased beyond 10 MB upon request; however, you should check with your media partner to verify that the ad will not be rejected by the publisher.
-
-

-
Ad can contain video.
-

Note
Note: This format is not supported in unfriendly iFrames.
The interstitial can serve in the following loading modes:
-
Instant: Ad loads immediately.
-
Polite: A lightweight image loads first, and the full ad waits for the publisher's page to finish loading.
