When a user clicks the Tweet button, the Tweet Text contains the default check out this ad text provided by the properties of the Tweet Button.

A can change this text in the Factory properties. Posting of the Tweet is confirmed, and the user has suggested accounts they may wish to follow, as provided in the properties of the Tweet Button. The Tweet Intent remains open until the user presses close.

Procedure
  1. In Ad Builder, from the Components pane, click Twitter.

  2. In the Properties pane, configure the relevant settings.

Properties

The following table describes the fields that you can modify.

Field

Description

Twitter

Defines the name of the component instance and the associated layer.

W and H

Defines the dimensions, width and height, of the component instance.

X and Y

Defines the positioning of the component instance on the stage.

Show on Load

Determines whether to show the component instance as soon as the ad displays, or to hide it, for example, to show the instance later in the animation.

Opacity

Determines the opacity (transparency) of the component instance.

URL to Share

Add the complete URL of the page that will be shared.

Tweet Text

Define the Twitter text.

Via

Define the user screen name associated with the Tweet.

Recommend

Define the recommended accounts.

Hashtag

Add comma-separated hashtags to be appended with Tweet Text. This is used to mark keywords or topics in a tweet.

Button Type

Select one of the button layouts.
