The Page Peel is an HTML format that allows a user to peel publisher content away and expose a full-screen ad underneath the page's site. An eye-catching peel animation appears as the user clicks on or drags the corner peel to show ad content (with the mouse on desktop or finger on touch screen).

The page peel maintains its corner position as the user scrolls, which enhances ad visibility.

The ad appears as the user drags the peel open and a reverse peel animation occurs when the user closes the ad content, returning to its default corner.

Page Peel includes the following attributes:

  • Maximum size is 10 MB. (The initial load can be set at 200 KB. For more information, see Add Polite Load to your HTML Ads.

    Note

    Notes:

    • While Sizmek Ad Suite (SAS) ads can be up to 10 MB, ads must also follow the specifications of the publishers or DSPs that will ultimately run the ad.

    • Maximum ad size can be increased beyond 10 MB upon request; however, you should check with your media partner to verify that the ad will not be rejected by the publisher.

  • Ad can contain multiple user interactions.

  • Ad can contain video.
