Before uploading your ad to SAS, verify that you have completed these prerequisites:
The folder that contains your assets does not include unnecessary files. For example:
Unused assets such as images, videos, or fonts.
Work files such as
Hidden files such as
Create a Workspace (zip file) for each ad. It is recommended that the zip file name matches the final name of the ad.
Each Workspace contains its default image (named Default or Backup). This image should be optimized and lightweight.
Note: Naming the Workspace and the default image are especially useful when using the Ad Wizard tool to bulk upload your work; the Ad Name field and the Default field will be filled in automatically. For more information, see Ad Creation Wizard.
Setting up your ad requires that you start by uploading your Workspace to the Assets Library. Then, set up your ad based on the Workspace that you uploaded.
Select Creative > Ads.
Click New Ad > Blank Ad.
Give your ad a meaningful name.
In the Ad Format list, select Immersive Takeover.
In the Creative Assets > Main Assets tab:
Select the Workspace folder and navigate to an uploaded Workspace.
Tip: SAS will default to this folder for the next step.
Select the default image. The default image should be a 1 x 1
.jpg. Since the banner is set to a dimension of 1 x 1, the backup image is also set to 1 x 1.
In the Creative Assets > Panels tab, verify that the list of panels was automatically populated with the values from your
config.jsfile. If the Panels tab does not include the list of panels, do the following:
Add the header panel, and name the panel header. Select
index.htmlfrom the panels/header folder. Set the position type to Banner Relative and Retractions to Never.
Add the background panel, and name the panel background. Select
index.htmlfrom the panels/background folder. Set the position type to Page Relative-Pixels and Retractions to Never.
Add the left gutter panel, and name the panel leftGutter. Select
index.htmlfrom panels/left_gutter folder. Set position type to Page Relative-Pixels and Retractions to Never.
Add the right gutter panel, and name the panel rightGutter. Select
index.htmlfrom panels/right_gutter folder. Set position type to Page Relative-Pixels and Retractions to Never.
Under Advanced Panel Settings, clear the Show Single Panel at a Time If Ad Contains Multiple Panels check box.
Set the frequency capping according to the campaign requirements.

You can set your Immersive Takeover to serve in one of these loading modes:
Instant: The entire unit loads immediately. This is the default behavior.
Polite: A lightweight image loads first. The full ad loads after the publisher's page finishes loading.
