Follow

The simple skin format displays a full-page image as a background, also known as a skin. This format can contain corresponding gutters and header banner elements. The optional gutters and header can be used as clickable overlays, or contain additional content.

Responsive gutters are shown if there is enough space to display them to the left and right of the page content. They will not be visible when the ad is viewed on mobile or tablet.

Note

Note: If your skin ad does not need to be responsive, build a standard banner (if below 300kb with a single click as the interaction) or a rich media banner. For more information, see About standard banner and About rich media banner.

Note

Note: The immersive takeover format is another responsive skin with more options. For more information, see About immersive takeover.

Simple Skin includes the following attributes:

  1. Maximum size is 10 MB. (The initial load can be set at 300 KB. For more information, see Add polite load to your HTML ads.)

  2. Ad can have multiple user interactions.

  3. Ad can contain video.

  4. Responsive or fixed sizes available.

  5. Customizable header and gutter elements.

  6. Tools for animation based on page scroll.

  7. Offers tools for a background and parallax animation.

Note

Notes:

  • While Amazon ads can be up to 10 MB, ads must also follow the specifications of the publishers or DSPs that will ultimately run the ad.

  • Maximum ad size can be increased upon request; however, you should check with your media partner to verify that the ad will not be rejected by the publisher.

Note

Note: This format is not supported in unfriendly iFrames.
